Andrew S. Yang is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher exploring our natural-cultural entanglements. His work has been exhibited from Oklahoma to Yokohama, including the 14th Istanbul Biennial, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, and the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. His essays and critical writing can be found in Art Journal, Leonardo, Biological Theory as well as the recent Routledge Handbook of Art, Science, and Technology Studies. With an MFA in visual arts and PhD in biology, Yang is Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
